What could Karl Rove do with his considerable skills when faced with unemployment? Hmmmmm. Vinay Menon of the Toronto Star penned a few suggestions on how the Lord of Darkness could do for network television what as he has done for American politics:

I stumbled across this gem of an idea posted here at the Yurica Report, and haven't seen it discussed at Kos.  The basic idea is this: if the damn machines won't print a receipt and leave a voter-verified paper trail, then just fill out your own receipt and hand it to the democratic poll watcher.  This would provide a quantitative basis for detecting fraud and to support appropriate legal recourse.  

Could this really be made to work as an end-run around the machines?
